Virginia has been married for over 45 years, has 2 fantastic children and 2 lovely grand daughters.
People often ask her why she decided on insurance as a career and as a general answer always says that she loves helping people and making sure that the insurance set up for them is appropriate and gives peace of mind no matter what happens in life..
Outside of work, Virginia makes time to enjoy some of the simple things is life. Relaxing on holidays with family and friends, enjoying nature with a bit of walking and loves cooking when she has the time. Being from a sports-loving family, she also enjoys following pretty much all NZ sports teams (especially netball and rugby union, rugby league and cricket)..

I joined Groupcare NZ Ltd. as a Financial Adviser in October 2018. Prior to this, I had been working in management and analytical roles. I actually started my career as a scientist!
A large part of my job is providing education to my clients, and I really enjoy taking the time to help clients understand their risks, the options available to them, and explaining how different products and approaches can mitigate their personal risks. I understand the huge amount of trust that is placed in me to understand and assess confidential and sensitive issues including medical conditions and finances.
In my free time, I enjoy getting outside and enjoying nature -be that through walks in some of our stunning regional parks, or feeling that air in my face as I cycle through trails. I also enjoy cooking, particularly experimenting with different recipes!
